PGA Paddy's last Ryder Cup hope says Olazabal
Three-time major winner Padraig Harrington will need to pull out an amazing performance at the PGA Championship this weekend if he wants to book his tickets for Medinah and the Ryder Cup, warned Team Europe captain Jose Maria Olazabal.

"He will have to do extraordinarily well here," Olazabal said.

"We've known Padraig, he's a very methodical player. He really works hard at it.

"I've played with him a couple of times during this year. From tee to green his game has been fairly good, but I think his putting has let him down this year so far."

Harrington, who last won a major at the British Open in 2008, has fallen to No.63 in the world rankings but has recently seen an upturn in form with a share of fourth at the US Open and tied for eighth at the Masters.

Unlike with Harrington, Olazabal was more upbeat about another under-performing European star, compatriot Sergio Garcia.

"He's a great team player. His spirit is always really good and in that regard, I think he is a great asset to the team," Olazabal added.

"If you are looking at the players to be on your team, Sergio would certainly be one of those for sure."
