The US took an eight point lead from Saturday’s team matches into Sunday’s singles matches
US Team Captain Kathy Whitworth said "Everyone out there was so competitive," Whitworth said. "The World team beat us in singles for the first time, which is usually our strong point. But they beat up on us pretty good.
