Woods commits to two events
Tiger Woods has set his sights on two more trophies in the month of May. Woods announced he will return to golf at the Wells Fargo Championship in Quail Hollow, a tournament he last won in 2007.

As per usual, Woods released the information on his website to the Charlotte, N.C., tournament, which begins May 3. He also, as expected, committed to the PGA Tour's flagship event, the Players Championship, the following week.

"I'm going to take some time off and not look at the clubs for a while, and then get back after it," Woods said on tigerwoods.com.

Woods has had a rollercoaster few months, that have seen considerable ups and downs in his past three tournaments. Woods pulled out in the middle of the final round at Doral with a recurrence of Achilles tendon pain, won at Bay Hill for his first PGA Tour title in 30 months and tied for 40th at the Masters, his worst ever 72-hole position in a major.

"I know what I need to work on," Woods said. "It's just a matter of getting out there and doing it. Just putting in the reps and the time. I just wasn't able to do it at the Masters."
