Woods: I expect a 'W' at PGA
Tiger Woods believe he will return to winning ways at the PGA Championship and lift the Wanamaker Trophy for the fifth time.

Last winning the tournament in 2007, Woods has only played one event prior, at Firestone in Ohio, coming into the final major of the season.

Nonetheless, he is bullish about his prospects in Atlanta.

"I expect a 'w'. Want me to elaborate? A nice 'w'," Woods said.

Despite a disappointing final placing of tied for 37th at the Bridgestone Invitational, Woods showed flashes of his old self after 12 weeks out with injury.

While he struggled at times with his tee shots, he made three consecutive birdies from the 15th on his final round to finish on 70.

"My feel is starting to come back. I've been away from the game for a while, but I'm starting to get the feel of hitting shots and how far the ball is going."

He was diplomatic when asked to comment on the bitter feelings that his former caddie Stevie Williams had expressed towards him in the aftermath of the tournament - "I'm not going to speculate on Stevie", preferring to focus on the upcoming major.

"I can feel the atmosphere, I can feel the rush of a major championship again," he said.
"When you go into a major it’s just different. It's going to be fun."
